When I was new to the Stateline, Mike Chunko (my biggest fan) reached out to me to share how much he enjoyed watching my forecasts. So, I wanted to do something nice in return for Mike.
We are both big Dukes Of Hazzard fans, so I invited the one and only John Schneider Studios (Bo Duke) to surprise Mike. “Shepherd to lost sheep! Shepherd to lost sheep! You got your ears on?” John is getting back into country music, so we all sang "Good Ole Boys" together! |

Illinois State Police Captain Carl HeintzCaptain Carl Heintz of the Illinois State Police is used to calling the shots in District 16, but today he's taking command of the First Warn Weather forecast. He is definitely multi-talented: State Trooper, member of the Rockford Barbershop Harmony Chorus, and now meteorologist! I did make sure to tell him what I drive, so he doesn't pull me over!

Guest Forecaster: ChaytonWe had Mike Gulley from Rockford Guitar Lessons on teaching Kathleen Cohen to play the guitar. During Mike's interview I was showing his son, Chayton, around the weather center. He then told me he wanted to be a meteorologist when he grows up, so I asked him if he would like to do the weather forecast with me!
